Student government gives young people a voice in school, community

Southeastern High School got a chance to see what it’s like to be in control of the government during a day trip to the Michigan State Capitol and Michigan Historical Museum in Lansing this winter.
Earlier this winter, Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) Superintendent Dr. Nikolai Vitti visited Dr. Whitney Woods’ fourth hour English class for seniors at Southeastern High School.
