Friends and families celebrate the season with festivities

Nearly 100 people gathered in the Cody Gardens after school on Oct. 23 for the 1st Fall Harvest celebration. Cody DIT ambassadors planned the event to show appreciation for students, teachers, family and partners and to help everyone get to know each other.
The event included dinner, pumpkin painting, games and a talent show.
Guests took fruits of the harvest when they left including tomatoes, peppers, collard greens and pumpkins.
