Renaissance: 'Slide the City' slides through Detroit

By Ariana Taylor Editor

Coming to Detroit for a new and cooling experience, Slide The City a traveling water entertainment company from Utah, is bringing a huge two-lane water slide to southeast Michigan this summer.

Detroiters can slide through up to 1,000 feet through the city on the inner water slide tubes or other flotation devices.

Rides, however, are available with a fee of $15 for a single ride, $30 for three rides, and $50 for an unlimited pass. Though a little pricey, Slide the City has been known to donate some of its proceeds to local charities.

Slide The City plans to hit major cities across the country including Ann Arbor along with Detroit. Though expected for the upcoming summer, dates are not yet set.
