Girls softball season begins at Cody this season. It has been at least four years since Cody had a softball team. The ladies are excited to play against many great teams in the Detroit Public Schools league. The team has played well and with excitement against these DPSCD schools.
Coach Netta Brown ensures all the girls attend practice and can go to all the games.
“These girls are great,” Brown said. “I only have to make sure they all get to practice and get to the games and home.”
The girls have been playing well this season. They are looking forward to the championships at the end of the season next month.
The young ladies have shown their talent and dedication this school year with games and their lives beyond softball.
