The last few weeks, days, hours, and even minutes are going by for the Class of 2024.
As graduation day approaches, we are coming to the real world. When we look back on our time here, we cannot help but feel a sense of nostalgia for the memories we have created, the friendships we have forged, and the challenges we have overcome.
Each one of us has a unique story to tell, a story of growth, resilience and transformation. We have pushed ourselves beyond our limits, embraced failure as a stepping stone to success, and learned valuable lessons along the way. As we navigate the uncertainties of the future, let us embrace change with open arms, welcome diversity with open arms, and strive for inclusivity and equality in all that we do. Let us be the change we wish to see in the world and make a positive impact on the lives of those around us.
Now that the Class of 2024’s time is ending, seniors have expressed their emotions now that we are in our last days.
Senior Keyon Walk said, “As my senior days come down to the last few weeks, I genuinely feel sad that it is ending. The year started off challenging and it is coming to a very wonderful and stress-free end with everyone, including discovering what they want to do and where they want to go. This year has been full of fun and great memories, so it is sad to see it all end as I start my new life.”
Senior Yasmin Fields said, “Approaching my last senior days, I feel excited to exit high school and enter college life. My family always told me college was the best part of their life. Not only for the freedom, but for the education that they’ve obtained. I’m static to be around people that are more mature and self-organized.”
As seniors have expressed their feelings about the senior year ending, it is very understanding on how they feel about the year.
Even though, yes, these may be our last moments we shall still look back on these days with glee. We have laughed, we have cried, we have also turned in work late, but we still got there, this is our pathway to becoming adults and who we are as people. We will look back on our journey as progression. This progression will make the future teachers, nurses, songwriters, engineers, programmers, administrators and so much more.
CMA provides a pathway for success and scholars in the making. We have all chosen our different paths that will be passed down from generation to generation. Not only will we graduate with knowledge, but the skills and mindset to carry others along as well.
This is the class of 2024!
