CMA's fall sports finish strong

It’s time to reflect on the successes and memories of fall sports as the autumn season ends.

CMA athletes have demonstrated their commitment, talent, and tenacity throughout the season in various sports including football, cross Country, volleyball and cheer.

Senior and cross-country runner Dechneri Jackson said, “This sport has made a big impact on me as a student-athlete and I’m glad my season ended with good memories, care, and lifelong lessons.” COURTESY PHOTO

Let’s take time to acknowledge the accomplishments, appreciate the athletes' hard work, and look forward to what’s ahead as we say goodbye to fall sports.

Sophomore Jiana Morris said, “This was an outstanding season, we showed up and put all our best out there and it was worth it.”

We have witnessed many unforgettable events and outstanding performances during the season. CMA athletes have shown their commitment on the field with amazing touchdowns and remarkable saves and cross country runners won a trophy as division runner-up.

Senior and cross-country runner Dechneri Jackson said, “This sport has made a big impact on me as a student-athlete and I’m glad my season ended with good memories, care, and lifelong lessons.”

As athletes bid fall sports farewell, it’s important to welcome the challenges ahead. To get ready for the next winter or spring sports season, athletes should use this time to relax, refuel and heal. The ability to stay motivated and focused will be enhanced by setting fresh goals.
