Southeastern Spirit Week brings out creativity

Spirit Week is a week full of fun and dressing up, using your own creativity within a specific theme.

For 2022, the Student Council selected the following themes: Twin Day (Monday), Character Day (Tuesday), Anything-But-A-Book Bag (Wednesday), Throwback (Thursday), and SE Spirit Day (Friday).

Spirit Week is traditionally the week of Homecoming, and this year was no different.

Students look forward to excitement, whether they participate or not.

“Spirit Week allowed SE students to show their creativity,” said Sophomore DeShawn Sanders. “There were more positive vibes in the building that week.”

“Spirit week is a fun time for both students and staff,” said Senior Paris Williams. “It’s a good way for students to dress up and relax.”

Senior Isiah Barnhill said Spirit Week is “representing and revitalizing one’s school spirit and their love for it.”

Many agree, Spirit Week is an awesome week for everyone.
