Cody seniors survive Scarefest Scream Park

The senior class had its first big outing to Scarefest Scream Park in Lenox on Oct. 28. The Scream Park featured a haunted hayride, haunted house, haunted forest and a terrifying maze.

The Hayride was called the Hayride of Doom. It was a fun ride around the property on the back of a tractor. The scary painted faces popped out along the drive. Forest of Darkness was a fun scare for the seniors. They walked in the forest and scary characters jumped out in the dark.

The haunted house was called Castle of the Dead.

“I just felt all the seniors run past me. It must have been scary,” senior sponsor Charlotte Smith said.

There was also a scary maze was called Terror Maze Zone that trapped all the seniors in a corn cob maze.

“The maze had to be one of the scariest but fun out of all the attractions there,” senior Clarence Moore said.

The senior class enjoyed their first activity together. The senior sponsor now plans to make this an annual event for seniors
