Spirit Week tradition continues at CMA

Most schools have their version of spirit week, and spirit week at CMA keeps the traditions and school alive and well. It’s also a way to get students excited about the annual homecoming dance.

Monday was Pajama Day, Tuesday was Twin Day, Wednesday was Family Day, Thursday was Decades, and Friday was Class Colors. Family Day is when each grade dresses up on a different life stage; first-year students dress like babies, sophomores dress like children, juniors dress like parents, and seniors dress up as grandparents.

CMA students said they were most looking forward to pajama day so they could come to school in onesies, nightgowns, slippers, bonnets and robes.

“I always look forward to Pajama Day,” senior Kelly Richardson said. “I always wear the cutest onesies.”

“It's relaxing when you get to do schoolwork in pajama pants, bonnets, and wrapped in a blanket,” senior Jaiden Sheard said.
