RHS juniors lead basketball team

The high school basketball season is getting underway, and Renaissance has eyes set on the district and state championships.

Last year Renaissance ended its season with a record of 6-14, but the guys say they’re making a few changes since last year.

Carrington McCaskill, ranked eighth in Michigan for the class of 2019 said, “We came up short last year, but I’m pretty sure we’re going to do a full 360."

McCaskill said he's confident the team will win championships this year.

Junior Chandler Turner is also confident.

Turner, who has been playing since his freshman year said: “As a captain, it’s time for me to step up for the team. We’re focused and ready to take on all challenges, I don’t think there’s a team in the state that we can’t challenge when we are all in sync.”

RHS has a young team with lots of experience.
