The Communications Media & Arts Lady Pharaohs volleyball team are on a roll this year.

"I feel we had the proper coaching this year," said junior Niya Cox.

CMA volleyball coach Matthew Dixon said his style has not changed, but the girls themselves have changed.

“Oh, nothing has changed in the way I coach," he said. "It’s the girls that have changed. I adapt to the way the girls learn and then I go from there.”

They started the season 8-0 until losing against Renaissance.

Several CMA students who enjoy going to the games believe that the team might have a chance of going to the finals.

“Depends on who they play this year," said senior Shania Williams. "They’ve been good so far."
